Geekwan Yunfei Livestream Responds to Daxiongping Video Removal: Private Operation by Individual Executives of Certain Manufacturers
Digital tech blogger "Geekwan" responded to the reason why their "Daxiongping" video was removed during a livestream. Addressing the audience's question of "Why was the horizontal screen version removed?", Geekwan member Yunfei clarified: "The reason is actually not as complicated as you think, there's no conspiracy by manufacturers against us. There are many people within manufacturers with different stances, some support us, some oppose."
Yunfei stated that this was actually a certain uninformed person from a certain manufacturer privately contacting "Principal," and it wasn't a manufacturer trying to target Geekwan.
This response broke previous speculation of "manufacturers jointly pressuring for video removal," directing the blame towards the private operation of individual executives of certain manufacturers, while also revealing the internal stance differences within digital manufacturers regarding review content.
According to previous reports, in February of this year, Geekwan released a video titled "Mobile Game Performance Daxiongping: Manufacturers Cheating is Too Crazy!", which was unexpectedly removed from all platforms, attracting attention from netizens and the media.
After the incident, Geekwan revealed that they did not receive any official notification or infringement explanation when the video was removed, and the entire matter was not handled through normal procedures.
