On the afternoon of April 17th, BYD's 16 millionth new energy vehicle officially rolled off the production line, with the global debut of the second-generation Denza D9. Data shows that BYD's R&D investment will reach 63.4 billion yuan in 2025, with a cumulative total exceeding 240 billion yuan. In 2025, BYD's annual sales exceeded 4.6 million vehicles, with overseas sales exceeding 1.04 million vehicles, covering 119 countries and regions.
In March 2026, BYD released its second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, overcoming industry challenges such as slow charging and difficulties charging in low temperatures, and launched the "Flash Charge China" strategy, planning to build 20,000 flash charging stations by the end of the year.
The second-generation Denza D9 that just rolled off the production line has a pre-sale price of 389,800-489,800 yuan. The entire series is standardly equipped with the Shenying Zhian 5.0 intelligent driving system, equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery. The plug-in hybrid version has a pure electric range of 401km, and the pure electric version has a range of 800km, leading new energy into a new era with comprehensively evolved product capabilities.
