Jinbi Volkswagen Launches New Flagship SUV, Wiz08, Featuring German Chassis and Xpeng Intelligence
Recently, Jinbi Volkswagen (Anhui), a subsidiary of Volkswagen, officially launched its first full-size all-electric SUV, the Wiz08, in Shenzhen. The new car is available in three versions: the Wiz08 Pure (long-range rear-wheel drive) priced at 229,900 yuan, the Wiz08 Ultra (long-range rear-wheel drive) priced at 249,900 yuan, and the Wiz08 Max (long-range high-performance all-wheel drive) priced at 289,900 yuan.

The entire series is standardly equipped with CATL batteries, available in 82kWh and 95kWh capacities, offering ranges of 630km, 700km, and 730km respectively.
It can gain 150km of range in 5 minutes, and charging from 10% to 80% takes only 20 minutes.
This vehicle is the first mass-produced model resulting from the technological collaboration between Volkswagen and Xpeng, taking only 24 months from project initiation to launch.
As a key model in Jinbi Volkswagen’s intelligent strategy, the Wiz08 is positioned as a full-size all-electric SUV, nearly 5 meters long with a wheelbase of 3080mm, and adopts a new design language.
The interior features a home-like design style, with a wrap-around cockpit paired with a 10.25-inch high-definition LCD instrument panel and dual 14.96-inch linked screens.
Intelligence is a core highlight, with the new car equipped with Xpeng’s VLA end-to-end large model intelligent driving system, supporting highway and urban NOA (Navigate On Autopilot).
It features full-scene assisted driving from "parking spot to parking spot" and retains Volkswagen’s "human-machine co-driving" design philosophy, ensuring safer and smoother control.
The new car is built on an 800V high-voltage platform, offering both single-motor and dual-motor models.
The chassis is equipped with dual-chamber air suspension, DCC adaptive chassis adjustment, AI intelligent chassis, and magic carpet intelligent predictive function, with front brakes featuring Brembo bidirectional four-piston fixed calipers.
It retains the solid handling feel of German cars while effectively filtering road bumps, balancing handling and comfort.
In terms of safety, the Wiz08 adopts an ultra-high-strength cage body structure, with 80% high-strength steel, and the battery has passed 436 all-scenario safety tests.
