Apple is Testing Two Main Screen Customization Options for iOS 27 and Bringing a New Siri Interface
Apple is considering adding "Undo" and "Redo" buttons to the iPhone home screen customization menu. Currently, long-pressing the home screen displays options to add widgets, customize, edit wallpaper, and edit pages. The new Undo and Redo functions will make it easier to recover from mistakes and repeat adjustments.

Although these two options aren't major changes, they point to the overall direction of iOS 27: an update that focuses more on fixing bugs, improving stability, and filling in details, rather than pursuing exaggerated new features.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman claims that the official graphics for Apple's WWDC 2026 are actually previewing the redesigned Siri interface in iOS 27. This design is reportedly set to appear within the Dynamic Island, where users will see a "Search or Ask" prompt when summoning Siri, accompanied by a glowing cursor with a highlight effect similar to the "26" number in the image.
Gurman also stated that a subtle halo will appear around the edge of the Dynamic Island when Siri is activated. At the same time, iOS 27 will also pre-install a standalone Siri app, with a search bar inside the app that will support back-and-forth conversations with Siri and allow users to view past conversation history. However, due to compatibility limitations with Apple Intelligence, at least some of the new designs may only be available for iPhone 15 Pro and newer models.
WWDC 2026 will be held from June 8th to June 12th, and Apple is expected to release the next generation of systems, including iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. According to current rumors, the focus of iOS 27 will be on improving daily experience with smaller but practical features, and on paving the way for deeper Siri transformations and Apple Intelligence expansion.
