Musk Summoned by French Prosecutors, X Platform Faces Further Controversy Over Pornographic Images and More
According to Xinhua News Agency, Musk has received a summons from French prosecutors, requiring him to be investigated in Paris on the 20th local time regarding inappropriate behavior on his social media platform X, including the spread of pornographic images of minors and the proliferation of deepfake content.

The Paris Prosecutor's Office stated that both Musk and X platform's former CEO Linda Yaccarino have been summoned for a "voluntary interview," and some X platform employees are scheduled to be interviewed as witnesses this week.
It is currently unclear whether Musk and Yaccarino will travel to Paris.
It is understood that this summons stems from an investigation launched by the Cybercrime Department of the Paris Prosecutor's Office in January 2025.
In February, investigators also raided the French headquarters of Musk's X platform.
A French parliamentarian accused X platform's algorithms of bias, potentially distorting the operation of automated data processing systems, prompting the French prosecution to launch an investigation.
Initially, the investigation focused on X platform's alleged abuse of algorithms and fraudulent data extraction, and subsequently expanded to include the spread of Holocaust denial speech, child pornography, and deepfake pornographic images.
French prosecutors also suspect that these issues may have been deliberately orchestrated to inflate the value of X platform and xAI.
