Modern IONIQ 3 Launched: Pixel Lights + Streamlined Hatchback
Hyundai has officially launched the all-electric IONIQ 3 in Europe, positioned as a compact electric hatchback. It is built on the E-GMP all-electric platform, with a design centered around "AeroHatch aerodynamic hatchback." Designed by a European team and produced in a Turkish factory, it targets young families and urban commuters. The exterior adopts a new design language with simple and sleek lines, featuring iconic pixel lights and four-dot LED light signatures for high recognition.
The sloping "Aero Hatch" design optimizes aerodynamics, aiming for a drag coefficient of 0.263.
In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4155(4170)/1800/1505mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2680mm.
The interior follows the "Furnished Space" concept, with a 5-seat layout and a flat floor. The conventional trunk volume is 441L, complemented by a layered center console, stackable cup holders, and other practical designs.
As the first Hyundai model in Europe to feature the Pleos Connect in-car system, it is developed based on Android Automotive OS, offering optional 12.9-inch/14.6-inch large screens, and equipped with Hyundai SmartSense intelligent driving system, Digital Key 2.0, 3.6kW V2L external discharge, and a BOSE sound system.
In terms of power, the IONIQ 3 is equipped with a single motor, with a maximum power of 147 horsepower and a peak torque of 250N・m.
The standard range version is equipped with a 42.2kWh battery, with a WLTP range of 344km; the long range version is equipped with a 61kWh battery, with a WLTP range of 496km.
