Framework Computer Releases Framework Laptop 13 Pro Modular Laptop
Modular laptop brand Framework Computer officially launched the Framework Laptop 13 Pro at its new hardware launch event. This is a completely redesigned model based on the existing 13-inch model, rebuilt "from scratch."

The company says the Framework Laptop 13 Pro continues the modular approach of being detachable and replaceable, but has been significantly upgraded in terms of overall structure, battery life, materials, and interactive experience. It will also be the first to feature Intel's new generation Core Ultra Series 3 "Panther Lake" processor platform.
It is reported that the Framework Laptop 13 Pro adopts a newly developed CNC-machined aluminum alloy body. Compared to previous generations of products, this is a "clean slate design" that improves structural strength and texture. The new machine is equipped with a larger 74Wh battery, and the company emphasizes that battery life will be significantly better than the previous Framework Laptop 13, and is supplemented by a number of power consumption optimization designs. In terms of memory specifications, the Framework Laptop 13 Pro supports LPCAMM2 memory modules, providing greater space for future upgrades and energy efficiency.
The screen and interactive experience are also key areas of this upgrade. The Framework Laptop 13 Pro is equipped with a power-optimized display and offers touch functionality, along with a touchpad with haptic feedback to enhance the feel and precision of daily operations. In terms of overall design, the new machine rebalances portability, maintainability, and daily use experience while maintaining a 13-inch portable form factor, making it Framework's first 13-inch Pro-level product based on the Intel Panther Lake platform.
Official information shows that the Framework Laptop 13 Pro will begin pre-orders today, with the DIY version starting at $1199 and the pre-installed version starting at $1499. The first batch is expected to ship in June this year. Users can choose to assemble it themselves or purchase a pre-installed configuration according to their needs, continuing Framework's consistent emphasis on customization and sustainable use.
In addition to the Framework Laptop 13 Pro, Framework also announced a series of updates to the Framework Laptop 16 at the launch event. The new version of the Framework Laptop 16 will offer an integrated keyboard solution, add a haptic feedback touchpad, and introduce new color screen bezels, while also introducing AMD Ryzen 5 processor options to enrich existing configuration levels. Officials say the new hardware, including the Framework Laptop 13 Pro, is now available for pre-order on the Frame.work website.
