SanDisk CFexpress 4.0 Released: 3700MB/s Read/Write + Up to 4TB Capacity, Priced Up to $12,000
SanDisk recently officially launched the new generation SANDISK ExtremePRO CFexpress 4.0 Type B storage card. The entire series adopts the PCIe Gen4 interface standard, with sequential read speeds up to 3700MB/s and write speeds up to 3500MB/s.
Of course, the most eye-catching aspect is its price: the 128GB entry-level version is priced at $249.99 (approximately RMB 1703.86), while the top-of-the-line 4TB version costs as high as $1799.99 (approximately RMB 12268.19), and all capacities are offered with a limited lifetime warranty.
With the top-end version priced at over 12,000 yuan, this storage card naturally has unique skills in video recording.
Models with 1TB and above capacity have obtained VPG-1600 certification, guaranteeing a sustained write speed of no less than 1600MB/s, which is sufficient to meet the demands of RAW video shooting at resolutions up to 12K.
Smaller capacity models have obtained VPG-400 and VPG-800 certifications respectively, ensuring that the storage card will not drop frames or interrupt recording due to write speed fluctuations when recording high-bitrate video.
This storage card is equipped with SmartIdle technology, which can intelligently switch to low-power mode when the device enters standby, effectively preventing overheating.
At the same time, its robust and durable design allows it to withstand drops of up to 5 meters and resist bending forces of up to 70 Newtons, ensuring data security even in harsh outdoor environments.
