ASUS Returns to Tablet Market After Seven Years: ASUS Pad Official Images and Specs Leaked
According to AndroidHeadlines, ASUS is about to launch a new tablet, the ASUS Pad, with design renders and some specifications already revealed. The tablet is positioned as a large-screen, lightweight device, featuring a 12.2-inch dual-layer OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio.

The ASUS Pad adopts a four-sided equal-width bezel design, with a slightly curved metal body. The back is flat, and the camera island (in portrait orientation) is located in the upper left corner, containing a single camera and LED flash, which protrudes slightly.
The device is equipped with stereo dual speakers, a thickness of 6.5mm, and a weight of only 523g, which is quite lightweight and thin for a 12.2-inch tablet.
The battery capacity is 9000mAh and supports fast charging, although the specific charging power has not yet been confirmed.
In terms of accessories, ASUS will offer at least one official protective case made of transparent plastic, with a multi-functional origami-style stand on the back that can adjust the support angle according to different usage scenarios and cover the screen for protection when stored.
The specific release time and price of the ASUS Pad have not yet been announced.
Looking back at ASUS's tablet history, although not officially announced, it terminated the ZenPad series tablet product line in 2019, shifting its focus to the mobile phone sector.
If this leak is accurate, it means that after about 7 years, ASUS is returning to the tablet product line as its mobile phone business comes to a close.
