Lenovo ThinkPad X9 15p Aura AI 2026 New Product Launch: Aggressive Specs, 50W Performance Release
Lenovo launched the ThinkPad X9 15p Aura AI 2026 tonight, starting at 18,999 yuan (17,499 yuan with government subsidy). The device is positioned as a versatile, high-performance AI creation laptop, targeting video and audio creators, travel photographers, and high-earning urban professionals.

In terms of performance release, Lenovo has increased the overall performance release to 50W by optimizing the internal airflow, increasing the density and volume of the heat sink fins, and using a fan that is twice the size of the previous X9 15.
Regarding core hardware, the ThinkPad X9 15p comes standard with 9600MT/s LP5x memory and unlocks the full performance of the Intel B390 integrated graphics card. Official data shows that the graphics performance of this integrated graphics card is comparable to gaming laptops equipped with NVIDIA 3060 discrete graphics cards.
Battery life is another highlight. It features an 88Wh high-density battery, paired with Intel's 18A process Ultra 3rd generation CPU, which improves energy efficiency by 15%. Lenovo Labs test data: 32 hours of continuous 1080p video playback, 25.4 hours on the PCMark 10 script, compared to 25 hours for the MacBook Pro under the same conditions.
The body weighs 1.52kg and is 7.25mm at its thinnest point, with a screen-to-body ratio of 90.9%. The six-speaker system is certified by Dolby Atmos. The screen comes standard with a 2.8K resolution OLED touchscreen, covering the DCI-P3 color gamut, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a full-area pressure-sensitive touchpad.
In terms of interfaces: 3 Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, 1 USB-A port, HDMI 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an SD card slot. It comes standard with an 88Wh lithium polymer battery paired with a 100W gallium nitride Type-C charger, which can charge both phones and computers simultaneously.
The software's core selling point is Tianxi Claw, officially defined as a super assistant that is ready to use out of the box, gets better with use, and is online 24/7.
Features include: no installation or configuration required, free use of cloud-based large models during the internal testing period; pre-installed high-quality exclusive Skills, supporting the installation of third-party Skills; edge-cloud hybrid deployment, allowing background tasks to continue running 24/7 even after the device is shut down, with long-term memory; and an independent cloud host to ensure data security and isolation.
Lenovo emphasizes that its edge-cloud hybrid full-scene coverage architecture is the only one in the industry.
Currently, there are two configurations available, both of which will be available for pre-order starting at 8:00 PM on April 22nd:
