Nicolas Cage's "Spider-Man Noir" Series New Poster: Classic Film Noir Style
Amazon Prime Video has released a new poster for the series "Spider-Man Noir," starring Nicolas Cage. The project is based on a version of Spider-Man from Marvel's multiverse, adopting the dark atmosphere and retro aesthetic of classic film noir.
The series will tell the story of an aging, isolated hero operating in New York during the Great Depression in a parallel timeline. Visually, it features both black and white and color versions, emphasizing detective elements and a narrative tone that is grittier and closer to the crime genre than mainstream Marvel adaptations.
According to industry sources, Sony Pictures is continuing to advance Spider-Man projects featuring different versions of the characters. Another spin-off series based on the character's parallel world setting is also in development, which will further extend the entire series' multiverse map beyond the main theatrical films.
