Woman Missing for Four Days Found After Excessive Photo Editing Hinders Search
According to Upstream News, a missing person case in Mexico recently gained widespread attention due to an excessively edited photo. 30-year-old Grecia Guadalupe Mendoza Orantes was reported missing on the 12th of this month. After the family reported to the police, a large-scale search was launched with the assistance of the search committee, widely posting missing person notices and releasing photos, but no clues were found for several days.

It is reported that Grecia's sister filed a report on the 12th, stating that her sister went missing in southeastern Mexico. Witnesses claimed to have seen people suspected of carrying weapons abducting Grecia in a small town. Police initially suspected the disappearance was related to a bar attack incident in the area.
After four days of searching, police finally found Grecia near a highway, fortunately she was unharmed. The search committee revealed that it took several days to find her because the photo used in the missing person notice was heavily edited, resulting in a significant discrepancy between the person and the photo, which delayed her timely discovery.
