iPhone Fold Metal Model Surfaces
Apple's first foldable iPhone, the iPhone Fold, is expected to officially debut this fall. A blogger has already obtained a metal model of this highly anticipated foldable phone, revealing its true body proportions and design details. Model comparisons show that the width of the iPhone Fold when unfolded is roughly the same as the height of the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Given the iPhone 17 Pro Max's height of approximately 150mm, this means the foldable phone will have a nearly square, large viewing area when unfolded.
When compared horizontally to the iPad mini, the iPhone Fold appears more refined and portable, with a display area very close in size to the iPad mini. Its screen size is around 7.7 inches, while the iPad mini's screen size is 8.3 inches.
In terms of core configuration, this top-end flagship will be equipped with an A20 Pro chip built on TSMC's 2nm advanced process. Paired with 12GB of RAM, the imaging system will consist of two 48 million pixel lenses, responsible for main and ultra-wide angle photography respectively.
Price is undoubtedly the absolute focus of external attention, and industry analysts predict that the starting price of the iPhone Fold will easily exceed $2000, equivalent to around 14,000 yuan.
The price of the top-spec version may even approach $3000, and it will undoubtedly be the highest-end, most complex, and most expensive flagship in Apple's iPhone product line in 2026.
