On the evening of April 24th, Dongfang Zhenxuan's HR department announced on the Dongfang Zhenxuan App community that hosts Mingming and Tianquan will soon be leaving the company. Yu Minhong communicated with them sincerely and attempted to retain them, but ultimately respected their decision, understanding their personal career planning and development choices.

Previously, Yu Minhong responded in a livestream, stating that he was “communicating with Mingming and Tianquan about work, and they are currently on vacation.”
Public information shows that Mingming, whose real name is Shi Ming, was born in Shangluo, Shaanxi Province, and graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University. He was originally a physics teacher at New Oriental and later joined Dongfang Zhenxuan as a host. On June 22, 2024, Mingming used the phrase "mountains and rivers shattered" to describe the landscape of Guizhou during a livestream, causing controversy, and he publicly apologized on June 29th.
Tianquan graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, and received a graduate degree from Columbia University. On the evening of December 15, 2023, Tianquan allegedly imitated Sun Dongxu's phone-smashing during a livestream, causing controversy. On December 16th, Dongfang Zhenxuan announced that Tianquan would be suspended from broadcasting for three months. On the same day, Tianquan apologized to netizens.
In addition, recently, Dongfang Zhenxuan host Linlin posted on social media, "The movie is over, both body and mind are exhausted, at a fork in the road, inevitably a farewell," confirming her resignation. Linlin also changed her account name from "Dongfang Linlin" to "LinlinProMax."
Host Tianquan mentioned: “I didn’t think about leaving at my peak, and I stood firmly with it during the low points. But over the past four months, the company’s executive management has changed, some philosophies have changed, the style of the livestream room has changed, and the office atmosphere has also changed. This made me increasingly question my reasons for staying. Whenever I encountered displeasure and frustration, I tried to comfort myself, but repeatedly failed, like the tide, receding an inch, rising a foot. I found that my idealism often seemed out of place. The value I created seemed unable to match the company’s needs.”
