Toyota Launches Crown Office Chair, Replicating Car Seats and Buckles, Limited to 70 Units Sold by Lottery
Today, Toyota, in collaboration with Japanese office furniture brand Itohki, officially released an office chair based on the front seats of the Crown model. The chair retains functions such as electric adjustment, ventilation, heating, and lumbar support, while the base, lifting structure, and armrests were jointly developed to balance comfort and office practicality.
The most interesting design of this chair lies in the preservation of the original car's seatbelt buckle, which has been modified into a USB port for device charging.
Toyota has not yet announced the capacity of the battery built into this office chair, nor the duration of a full charge.
It is reported that this office chair will be sold through Toyota's Japanese high-end Crown exclusive store channel, THE CROWN, and belongs to the "Crown Selection Series," priced at 495,000 yen, approximately 21,244 yuan RMB.
Toyota stated that this model is limited to 70 units, and if demand exceeds supply, purchase eligibility will be determined by lottery.
