Million-Dollar Bounty to Send Former Executive to Prison? Simba Tears Apart Relationship, Exposure of Team Poaching
Following the ongoing controversy surrounding the departure of Oriental Selection hosts Mingming and Tianquan, a personal feud between Simba, a top streamer on Kuaishen, and his former executive Guo Taotao (Head of Simba Group’s Merchandise Center) has resurfaced. Simba recently publicly called out Guo Taotao during a livestream with his wife, Chu Ruixue, stating “Don’t force me to send you to prison,” and offered a bounty for evidence of Guo Taotao’s crimes, promising an additional 1 million yuan for each year added to his sentence.

According to Simba, after leaving Simba Selection, Guo Taotao consistently disparaged and undermined the company to merchants, claiming “Simba Selection is finished.” He warned Guo Taotao, “If you continue to say negative things about Simba with your business team, I will directly declare war on your entire team.” He even made the extreme statement, “We can both perish together.”

Simba Exposes Family Secrets, Offers 1 Million Yuan Bounty for Evidence to Imprison “Guo Taotao”
“Guo Taotao, let me remind you, don’t force me to send you to prison, understand?” This was the harsh statement Simba made to former Head of Merchandise Center Guo Taotao during a livestream with his wife, Chu Ruixue. With these words, the grievances between Simba Group and Guo Taotao, as well as several other former executives, were exposed.
According to Simba, when Guo Taotao left Simba Selection, he “abandoned” a department with over 10 billion yuan in annual revenue for “over a month.” After leaving, Guo Taotao continued to disparage Simba Selection to merchants, saying “Simba Selection is now over, it’s finished.”
“I should have eliminated you back then.” Simba issued a bounty to all stakeholders within the ecosystem, stating, “If you provide evidence that can increase his sentence, I will give you 1 million yuan for each additional year.” He promised that those who provide evidence would not only receive money but also become Simba Selection’s VIP customers, enjoying a green channel for cooperation and high bonuses.
In addition to naming Guo Taotao, Simba also exposed a “Shi-surname manager,” accusing him of being the R&D head of Simba Selection’s high-end food brand “Jianfeng Shike” but taking away all 200 developed product commercial and product information when he left, and also taking most of the team members with him.
Public information shows that “Jianfeng Shike” is a subsidiary incubated by Simba Group and is one of the company’s main self-operated brands. The departure of team members and the loss of core commercial production data have caused significant damage to Simba Selection.
In response, Simba stated that if the other party does not stop, he will not use Simba Selection’s current resources but will start a livestream on another platform, revealing all “unknown matters” in the past, striving to “take down” everyone involved, and he himself can “perish together” with Guo Taotao and others.
Is Simba, who feels he’s “not surviving,” being cornered by his “former disciples”?
Public information shows that Guo Taotao was the Head of Simba Group’s Merchandise Center, responsible for core businesses such as supply chain, product selection, and quality control, controlling over 20 billion yuan in annual sales. However, in January of this year, Simba Group announced that Guo Taotao had resigned. Subsequently, he accepted a fan account of 7 million followers gifted by streamer Dandan (Yang Runxin), who also left Simba Selection and fell out with Simba, and began to develop under Dandan’s team.
Notably, the Shi-surname manager named by Simba for emptying “Jianfeng Shike” also has a close relationship with Guo Taotao. According to Simba during the livestream, this person was Guo Taotao’s “team CEO.”
Even earlier, in October 2025, Simba’s personally trained disciple, “Kuaishen’s Number One Sister” Dandan, suddenly and quickly established two companies, Hangzhou Runxing Entertainment and Runxin Entertainment, both with a 99% stake, and had no equity connection with Simba Selection after being silent for many months. Subsequently, she cried in the livestream, stating that she had been subjected to long-term workplace bullying, permanent tinnitus in her left ear, brain damage, and even fractures in her arm and nose, directly calling out Simba to explain the truth.
In the same month, Zheng Jiabo, a key figure considered Simba’s “strategist” and a Simba Selection partner, was also exposed to have moved to Chengdu and begun close cooperation with Kuaishen streamer Liu Er Gou, who was once Simba’s “arch-enemy.” Jiabo even stated in the livestream that he would “stand behind Liu Er Gou” in the future. In addition, various sources show that Jiabo and Dandan may have “allied,” and the two may join forces to “challenge” their former boss, Simba.
Although there is currently no equity relationship proving that Jiabo, Dandan, Guo Taotao, and the “Shi-surname manager” mentioned by Simba are members of the same team, the departure and public challenge of several key business leaders, and even aligning themselves with his opponents, is undoubtedly a heavy blow to Simba.
Regarding the exposure of Guo Taotao’s alleged defamation and the loss of Jianfeng Shike’s commercial secrets, Simba Selection Group had not responded to inquiries from the "BUG" Column as of press time. However, industry insiders believe that Simba’s disregard for everything and “public criticism” indicates that he has been “forced to the edge by his former disciples” and has “no longer cared about propriety.”
Lawyer: May Violate Labor Law and Infringe on Commercial Secrets
Regarding Simba’s public criticism of Guo Taotao for not properly handing over his duties upon leaving and publicly defaming the company, Zhou Ankang, a lawyer at Shanghai Shenhao (Hefei) Law Firm specializing in corporate affairs, stated in an interview with the "BUG" Column: “If the two parties have an employment relationship, he (Guo Taotao) is in violation of labor law without a proper handover, and the act of publicly defaming the company faces the risk of infringing on the company’s reputation and suspected unfair competition, but the company needs to provide corresponding evidence.”
According to Article 10 of the “Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China,” business operators shall not violate confidentiality obligations or violate the rights holder’s requirements for confidentiality of commercial secrets. In addition, Article 7 stipulates that business operators shall not engage in false or misleading commercial advertising through organizing false transactions, false reviews, and other means.
Regarding Simba’s allegation that the Shi-surname manager took away the company’s commercial information and product information, Zhou Ankang stated: “Valuable commercial secrets of a business enterprise include the company’s core supplier list, pricing, and some unpublished product information. If employees or former employees take or disclose related information without authorization, it constitutes infringement of commercial secrets.”
In addition to the dispute between Simba and Guo Taotao and other former employees, recently, Oriental Selection hosts Mingming, Tianquan, Zhongcan, and Linlin have all announced their resignations. In response, Yu Minhong publicly stated that “after adjustments in management, there were deviations in the company’s management methods, excessive emphasis on system control, and neglect of team humanistic care, leading to problems in the team atmosphere.” He stated that he would optimize the management model and balance systemized operation with humanistic care.
Behind the increasing disputes between streamers and livestreaming platforms, industry insiders believe that after the early stage of rapid and barbaric growth, the livestreaming e-commerce industry has gradually entered a stage of stock development. With increasing regulatory scrutiny and slowing industry growth, the allocation of benefits and organizational governance will become core issues for the healthy development of the industry.
Simba’s public criticism of Guo Taotao and the Shi-surname manager may highlight the importance of internal organizational governance and the protection of streamer rights.
