Microsoft and OpenAI Revise Partnership Agreement
Microsoft and OpenAI have announced revisions to their partnership agreement to streamline their collaboration. Microsoft's OpenAI license will become non-exclusive, and Microsoft will no longer pay OpenAI revenue sharing. Microsoft will remain OpenAI's primary cloud service partner, and OpenAI's products will be prioritized for release on the Azure platform.

Microsoft will continue to have a license to use intellectual property related to OpenAI models and products, valid until 2032.
OpenAI's revenue sharing arrangement with Microsoft will continue until 2030.
As a significant shareholder, Microsoft will continue to be directly involved in OpenAI's growth.
