Yu Hao Posts Three Weibo Messages Directly Addressing Xiaohongshu CEO: The Prevalence of "momo" Encourages Evil Deeds
On April 29th, Yu Hao, founder and CEO of Dreame Technology, posted three consecutive Weibo messages directly addressing the CEO of Xiaohongshu. Regarding the phenomenon of many "momo" accounts on Xiaohongshu, Yu Hao questioned, "Who are the 'momo'? Why are there so many of them? 'momo' publishes false and inaccurate information, causing negative impact to us. Who should I seek for resolution? You or the 'momo'?"

He pointed out, "Have the 'momo' accounts on Xiaohongshu all undergone real-name authentication? If simply browsing is acceptable, if they can post, comment, and reply, why isn't real-name authentication required? Who will take responsibility for this false information!"
He further questioned that only Xiaohongshu does not require real-name verification. Xiaohongshu has a large number of anonymous accounts named "momo" wearing masks. This mechanism "is it not encouraging evil deeds? What about your social responsibility?"
Notably, Yu Hao signed his name as "Yu Hao" at the end of these Weibo messages, a stark contrast to his previous anonymous criticisms.
Bianniu Shi believes that Yu Hao's signed posts are intended to explicitly obtain a response from the CEO of Xiaohongshu, in strong contrast to "anonymity."
The core logic of Yu Hao's direct address is questioning the Xiaohongshu's anonymous/low real-name accounts represented by "momo," where the responsible party is ambiguous and accountability is difficult when publishing false information.
Yu Hao uses his public identity and states his real name, which can be traced and held accountable, reinforcing the view that "only real-name registration can be constrained and bear responsibility."
Signing all three posts as "Yu Hao" is also a formal statement as the company's leader, giving more weight to the demands and allowing the platform and the public to clearly identify who is raising the issue, rather than a vague "netizen."
Yu Hao has always been known for his high-profile and outspoken style. The signature itself is an attitude: not afraid of being held accountable, not afraid of the platform's response, and not afraid of the controversy brought about by openly expressing his views. Directly placing his name here conveys the signal that "I am personally responsible for every word I say," forming a strong opposition to the value of anonymous accounts "not being responsible."
Of course, from the perspective of communication, this is also Yu Hao strengthening the binding of his personal IP and demands.
The signature also deeply binds the content of this direct address with his personal IP, allowing the public to clearly know that it is "Yu Hao, CEO of Dreame Technology" questioning Xiaohongshu's real-name system issue, avoiding ambiguity of the subject in information dissemination, and further amplifying his personal influence and topicality.
