Previously, GALAX Brazil announced the transfer of brand operation and management rights to Tongde Group, which some media outlets have misinterpreted and sensationalized as GALAX going bankrupt and delisting.
Tongde emphasized in the statement that this adjustment is merely a long-planned global brand integration initiative within the group, and not a brand shutdown or business termination. The GALAX brand will not cease operations and will continue to invest in the research, development, production, and after-sales service of hardware products. The existing product iteration roadmap will continue as originally planned and will not be affected by this management adjustment.
It is understood that GALAX has been a core brand under Tongde Group since 2007. This reform consolidates the management rights of the three product lines – GALAX, KFA2, and HOF (Hall of Fame) – under the centralized control of Tongde Group headquarters.
The core purpose of this move is to coordinate global brand layout, optimize the global supply chain system, integrate R&D resources, and improve synergy efficiency between brands, further strengthening the group's overall competitiveness.
Officially confirmed, the three brands GALAX, KFA2, and HOF will all be retained and continue to develop independently.
