Dreame CEO Yu Hao Requires All Employees to Open Social Media Accounts: Post Three Videos Daily, with a Top Reward of 100,000 Yuan
Today, Dreame CEO Yu Hao issued a notice in the company group, requiring every Dreame employee to open accounts on all social media platforms. The specific requirement is to use 15 minutes of video each day to post three videos introducing the products and technologies they are working on, or introducing the selling points, core technologies, and innovations of the company's various products.

Yu Hao said that Dreame employees alone would have at least 20,000 accounts.
There are also reward measures for opening accounts:
“If you reach 10,000 real fans, you will be rewarded with 10,000 yuan!
If you reach 50,000 real fans, you will be rewarded with 50,000 yuan!
If you reach 100,000 real fans, you will be rewarded with 100,000 yuan!”
Recently, Yu Hao has published several articles criticizing a certain social media platform, saying that every time he opens the platform, the first post he sees is a pinned negative review. Yu Hao believes that the platform should bear legal responsibility for unverified false information.
Obviously, Yu Hao's requirement for employees to open social accounts is to counter the negative reviews on social platforms.
But is it easy to achieve? Are employees willing?
In many companies, employees are not even willing to share company news on their WeChat Moments. Now Dreame requires all employees to open social accounts and post videos. If they are not required to show their faces, it is feasible to some extent.
It reminds me of a previous major company's PR lead who believed in short videos and asked PR department employees to open video accounts to talk about business, but the strategy fell through after the lead left due to a video controversy.
Will Yu Hao's requirements, such as asking R&D, administration, logistics, and front-line workshop workers to do things they are not good at, distract them and affect their primary work?
But now that we have entered the AI era, making a video is not difficult.
In terms of fan numbers, 10,000 fans is not easy.
From annual gala concerts, giving away gold, blasting platforms to all-employee marketing, Yu Hao has always been “high-profile in creating topics, using traffic to exchange for growth,” benchmarking Lei Jun but being more aggressive. However, it is also easy to break the circle.
Opening social accounts for all employees will lead to a rapid increase in exposure, a decrease in customer acquisition costs, and a rapid increase in brand voice. Rewards can motivate a group of employees to take it seriously.
But we shouldn't always consider the negative side. This is also the first time in the industry, and we welcome it.
Just now, Yu Hao updated again:
