GuliKit Previews Switch 2 Anti-Drift TMR Joystick Upgrade Kit
Nintendo Switch 2's Joy-Con controllers still use traditional analog joysticks prone to drift, a major concern for players. GuliKit recently announced the development of a replacement joystick kit for the Switch 2 Joy-Con, utilizing TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) technology to replace traditional potentiometers.

TMR technology reduces wear, effectively resists drift, and improves sensing accuracy. GuliKit has previously offered similar upgrades for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, Switch Pro controllers, and the original Switch Joy-Con.
The upgrade kit requires no soldering and is plug-and-play, but users will need to disassemble the Joy-Con for installation. According to iFixit’s Switch 2 Joy-Con teardown guide, at least opening tools and an electronic screwdriver kit are required.
The price and release date of the upgrade kit have not yet been announced, but GuliKit states it is “coming soon.”
