Google Gemini Now Generates Various Common Files for Users
Google's Gemini now supports directly generating various common files for users, ranging from office documents to technical texts. According to official information, Gemini currently supports generating file formats including: Google Workspace documents (Docs, Sheets, and Slides), PDF, .docx, .xlsx, .csv, LaTeX, plain text (TXT), rich text format (RTF), and Markdown (MD).
This new feature has been rolled out to all Gemini users globally. Users simply need to enter a brief instruction, and Gemini will generate the desired file in the specified format.
Google says this will help users “more easily import work into different applications,” eliminating the need to repeatedly copy, paste, and manually adjust formats between various tools.
In most supported formats, users can directly download the generated files to their local devices, or export them to Google Drive with one click for further editing or sharing.
Google emphasized in its documentation that this is another step in integrating AI deeply into its productivity tool ecosystem, hoping to integrate content creation, format conversion, and cross-platform transfer into the same workflow through Gemini.
