Apple Releases 2026 Pride Special Edition Band and Matching Watch Face & Wallpaper
Today, Apple launched its 2026 Pride collection, including a new Apple Watch Pride Edition Sport Loop band, a new Pride Luminance watch face, and matching wallpapers for iPhone and iPad.
Apple stated that this series of products aims to pay tribute to the global LGBTQ+ community in June Pride Month and beyond, while emphasizing the company's continued financial support for related charitable organizations.
The newly launched Pride Edition Sport Loop band is now available for purchase on the Apple website and in the Apple Store app, available in 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm sizes. In the US market, the band is priced at $49, and Apple retail stores will begin selling it later this week. Apple describes the new band as woven from 11 nylon yarns, transitioning from one gradient to another, creating a rainbow effect with depth and dynamism, fully representing the diverse and unique identities of the LGBTQ+ community.
In addition to the physical band, Apple simultaneously launched the new Pride Luminance watch face, along with matching iPhone and iPad wallpapers. These digital themes require watchOS 26.5, iOS 26.5, and iPadOS 26.5 to function, and the relevant system versions are currently in the testing phase, expected to be officially released to all users this month. Apple stated that the Pride Luminance watch face and matching wallpapers both support user-defined color schemes for better personal expression.
